Here for sale we have a LEWITT LCT 1040 'Ultimate Microphone System'. This large diaphragm capacitor microphone was developed over 7 years in collaboration with the global audio recording community to meet the varied needs of modern audio engineers and their studios. 
 
Primarily intended as a vocal microphone, the LCT 1040 delivers versatility required for a raft of applications. A 25.4mm transducer is featured, with a 3 Micron Gold sputtered Mylar diaphragm. An E88CC valve is installed in the body of the mic, and is powered by the included power supply unit. The PSU is topped with a detachable remote control which offers full adjustability between valve and FET outputs which can be routed from the controller simultaneously or blended. 4 different tube modes are included which range from modern flat response to more characterful tube powered sounds. The polar pattern can be varied seamlessly between 5 different settings, and you can even reverse the direction of the field. The standard low cut filter options and attenuation controls that you would typically expect on the microphone are included on the remote to allow for easy adjustment from the control room. 
 
Included with the microphone is a heavy duty carry case, power supply, remote control, 'C' shape shock mount, magnetic pop-shield, 10-pin Hirose microphone cable along with manuals and protective folders inside the case. LEWITT have dubbed the LCT 1040  the 'Ultimate Microphone System', and with such a versatile range of features as well as the excellent build quality and robust nature of the microphone and its included accessories, it is safe to say that the LEWITT LCT 1040 easily lives up to that moniker, and can be the centrepiece of any studio.
