Here for sale we have a modified Jackson X Series Soloist SLX Crackle in Green Crackle finish. Made in Indonesia in 2019, this guitar features a thru-neck construction comprising a Maple neck, Basswood body and 24 fret Laurel fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with Black hardware including a Floyd Rose Special Double-Locking tremolo system and Jackson sealed tuning machines. A pair of Seymour Duncan passive humbucking pickups are installed , with an SH-2N in the neck and TB-6 in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls.
The Maple neck plays exceptionally well, with a profile that might be described as a thin 'D' shape that feels razor sharp and articulate in all registers. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck is pleasant to the touch and assists with seamless navigation of the 25.5" scale. The neck-thru construction and sculpted heel offer unrivalled access to the upper register, meaning that you can easily make use of all 24 Jumbo frets. The Laurel fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its 12"-16" compound radius ensures that the playing experience is tailored to the needs of the musician in all registers.
The pair of Seymour Duncan passive humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, well suited to rock and metal genres. The neck pickup offers plenty of roundness and warmth whilst remaining articulate and powerful- pushing your solo tones right to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is of course brighter, and with a nicely hot output will push your amp into a fully saturated distortion tone with ease, perfect for those searing rhythm sounds. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your tone without over-complicating things, ensuring you can focus on your playing.
