Here for sale we have a Jackson JS30 Dinky electric guitar in Black finish. Made in India in 2004, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Indian Cedro body, Maple neck and 22 fret Indian Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Licensed Floyd Rose Jackson JT580 LP DOuble-Locking tremolo system and sealed Jackson tuning machines. A pair of Jackson CRV2 passive humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls.
The Maple neck plays very well, with a nicely sim and manoeuvrable profile just as we expect from Jackson. The profile might be described as a 'D' shape, with a flattened area to the centre rear which promotes ergonomic thumb positioning and easy reach across the neck. Paired with the 14" fingerboard radius and generous double-cutaways, the playing experience is razor-sharp and precise in all fingerboard positions. The familiar lines of the S-Style body are as comfortable and practical in the arms as ever, with well set out controls within easy reach.
The amplified tone of the Jackson CRV2 passive humbucking pickups is thick and full-bodied, delivering plenty of power from the neck for lead and solo sounds, whilst the bridge position produces a higher output for saturated rhythm parts and riffs. Whilst clearly aimed at the high-gain player, the clean tones are nice and crisp, with plenty of warmth from the neck and brightness in the bridge that shimmers beautifully when a little chorus is added. A great quality affordable instrument from Jackson.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. A light scuff mark is present at the bass side near the 6th E tuner, with further light scuffing present at the tip. A very small indentation to the rear of the neck is present near the bass side of the locking nut. Light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Mild discoloration to the rear of the neck is present across the register, most notable at the bass side behind the 6th-11th-12-13th frets and at the treble side edge near the fingerboard at frets 3-9 where the finish has rubbed away exposing the wood beneath. Very light lateral scratching is present to the fingerboard across the register, this can only be seen under close scrutiny and can not be felt under the thumb in the playing position.
Body: Overall very good condition. Moderate playwear is present between the pickups at the treble side, with the gloss finish demonstrating a hazy appearance. Light to mild scratching to all aspects of the body can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notably to the rear face at the upper horn.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with flattening of the crowns throughout. There is moderate material remaining for any light fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. No truss rod adjustment tool included (hex 4mm)
Hardware: Overall good condition. The bridge and tuning machines display light to mild signs of tarnishing and oxidation. The pickup ring screws display milder oxidation. The pickup covers display scratching and indentations, most notably to the bridge pickup. Tremolo arm included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
