Here for sale we have a Jackson DK2M Dinky in Snow White finish. The original run of the Jackson DK2M Dinky was offered between 2006-2010, and constructed exclusively in Japan. As the serial numbers are sequential, they contain no date information to pinpoint this example's year of manufacture, however due to the 7 digit serial and Shark fin fingerboard inlays, we can be fairly confident that this example was manufactured early in the run. A bolt-on construction is employed and comprises an Alder body, Maple neck and 24 fret Maple fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including a Floyd Rose Licenced Jackson JT-580 LP double locking tremolo system and Jackson sealed tuning machines. A pair of passive Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups are installed, with an SH-2N in the neck and TB-4 in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way blade switch and master volume & tone controls.

The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with its ‘Speed Neck’ profile providing smooth and effortless navigation up and down the neck. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 14"-16" compound radius offers comfort for chord playing in the lower register and practicality for lead lines and string bending in the upper frets. The Jumbo frets enhance the feel of string bending and vibrato techniques whilst lending a rock solid and dependable feel to the playing experience. The lower horn and neck joint are gently sculpted to improve access to the upper frets, ensuring that you never run out of room for technical solos and guitar acrobatics.

Amplified, this guitar has a thick low end grunt and sculpted mid range thanks to its pair of  Seymour Duncan pickups. The Seymour Duncan TB-4 bridge pickup incorporates a massive ceramic magnet and hot coil windings to deliver powerful but balanced rock and metal tones with rich upper-midrange harmonic content. The low strings sound tight, with plenty of definition and clarity even on low-down riffs. Trebles scream with harmonics, making it a go-to pickup for hard-hitting crunch rhythms and blazing lead tones. The Seymour Duncan SH-2N in the neck position offers all the soloing clarity you could wish for, with sweet sustain and a warm, full sound that still possesses a clear attack.

Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. The rear edge of the tip shows light indentation which very lightly pierces the finish. Further light indentation is present along the bass side rear edge near the tuning machines, visible only under close scrutiny.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Very light indentation to the rear of the neck can be seen under direct light, but does not impact the playability of the instrument. The satin finish to the rear of the neck has worn to a light gloss through regular use. The fingerboard shows light indentation throughout the register, most notable at the bass side of the 20th fret and at the 7th. Small black marks are present to the fingerboard between frets 8-11. The fingerboard markings do not affect playability.

Body: Overall very good condition. Minor discoloration of the finish is present throughout, most noticeable at the edges of the instrument. Light chipping of the finish is present at the treble side waist, most notably at the front edge where an amateur repair has been performed. Light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable at the treble side waist of the front face, consistent with playwear.

    Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Light flattening of the crowns is present throughout the register. There is considerable material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform.
