Here for sale we have an Ibanez Prestige RG655 in Galaxy black finish. Made in Japan in 2016 this guitar features a Bolt-On construction consisting of a Basswood body, Maple/Walnut neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Edge Tremolo bridge, Top-Lok III nut and Gotoh SG381 machine heads. A trio of Dimarzio pickups are fitted in a HSH configuration and are wired to a 5-way pickup selector and master volume and tone controls.
The 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck plays very well, with the Super Wizard HP Prestige profile feeling exceptionally articulate and slender in the hand, facilitating fast technical playing across the register. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 17" and Jumbo frets is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques. Vibrato and string bending is particularly smooth thanks to the jumbo frets. The generous cutaways and Ibanez' 'All Access Neck Joint' offer unrestricted reach into the upper register.
The trio of Dimarzio passive pickups are installed in an HSH configuration, and with 5-way switching deliver a wide array of tones for the player to use. The Air Norton neck humbucker is round and clear, with plenty of power to push your lead lines and solos to the front of the mix. The Tone Zone bridge humbucker is brighter, and with a high output saturates into a full-bodied distortion when driving the amp. The True Velvet single-coil in the middle position cleans up nicely, allowing for shimmering chords and funky tones. An exceptional example of the Ibanez Prestige range.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Very light scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can only be seen under very close scrutiny under direct light.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Very light discoloration is present to the rear of the neck, this is common with past use on natural finished necks.
Body: Overall very good condition. Mild to moderate chipping and indentation is present to the sides and edges of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen to the bass side should edge and bass side lower bout edge, these have broken the finish exposing the wood beneath. The most apparent chipping of the finish can be seen to the treble side lower bout edge, these have exposed the wood beneath. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can only be seen under direct light.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (7mm socket) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. A previous owner has replaced the control knob and switch tip for a set of green plastics, the originals are not included. Light tarnishing of the finish can be seen to the bridge and tuning machines, these can only be discerned under close scrutiny. Light scratching is present to the pick guard, these can be seen under direct light. Tremolo arm included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm

Ibanez hard case.
Overall very good condition and fully functional. A indentation to the exterior of the case can be seen to the left hand edge, this does not effect the function of the case.
