Here for sale we have an Ibanez Iron Label RGAIX6FMT electric guitar in Transparent Gray Flat finish. Made in Indonesia in 2018, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Mahogany body, with Flamed Maple top, 3-piece Maple/Purpleheart/Maple neck and 24 fret Ebony fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted, including an Ibanez Edge Zero II double-locking tremolo system and Gotoh locking tuning machines. A pair of DiMarzio Fusion Edge passive humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume and a coil split toggle.
 
The 3-piece Maple/Purpleheart/Maple neck plays very well, with the Nitro Wizard profile feeling particularly slim and easily manoeuvrable in the hand, and providing a smooth and precise playing experience across the register. The open-pore finish to the rear provides a nicely tactile playing surface, making for a pleasant sensation when navigating the 25.5" scale. Generous cutaways and Ibanez' 'All Access Neck Joint' work together to ensure that access to the upper frets is completely unrestricted; perfect for the technical player that this guitar is clearly aimed at. 
 
The pair of DiMarzio Fusion Edge passive humbucking pickups deliver thick and full-bodied tones, perfect for hard rock and metal players. The neck pickup is round and powerful, easily pushing your solo tones to the front of the mix. The bridge is brighter, producing a searing output which saturates into a full-throttle distortion tone for all of your rock and metal riffing. The addition of the coil split toggle is a welcome feature which adds the versatility of single coil sounds for those softer, clean sections of the set. The controls remain nice and simple so that you can focus on what's really important. A typically well-made and well equipped instrument from Ibanez.
