Here for sale we have an Ibanez ART300 in Brown Caiman finish. Crafted in China in 2008, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. It is fitted with Black Chrome hardware including a Tune-O-Matic style bridge and tailpiece as well as sealed tuning machines. The pickups are Ibanez LoZ active humbuckers, with a LZ1-N in the neck and LZ1-B in the bridge.
The Mahogany neck plays well, providing a substantial but refined paying experience that is characterful without being cumbersome. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch and provides a comfortable playing surface, whilst the gloss finish to the rear helps with smooth transitions The set-neck construction and rather slim body ensure that you can make use of all 22 frets with ease, and paired with body contours and and arched top makes this guitar feel comfortable in both standing and seated positions.
Amplified, the Ibanez LoZ Active Humbuckers provide a full and thick tone. The neck position is warm and rich, with shimmering clean sounds readily available. The middle selection provides a balanced clean tone, whilst the bridge is nicely bright for rock crunch sounds. When driving the amp, the pickups provide a rich harmonically saturated distortion, with enough bite in the bridge for screaming metal sounds and fantastic solo tones in the neck position.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face of the headstock presents light scratching which can be seen under direct light.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard show minimal signs of use.
Body: Overall good condition. The front face presents light scratching, visible under direct light. This is most notable to the treble side near the waist. A small lacquer chip can also be seen here, close to the binding. The rear face demonstrates notable paint chipping exposing the wood near to the bottom strap button. Two drill holes are present next to the strap button where it has been moved to a non-original position. There is some denting and scratching to the finish on the bass side edge of the lower bout, along with light scratches seen to the rear.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform.
