Here for sale we have a Hohner G3T in Gloss Black finish. Made in Korea as a more affordable Steinberger, this guitar features a neck-thru construction comprising a Maple neck with Maple wings and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with an R-Trem locking Tremolo system system, Steinbergers Headless design and folding leg rest. The pickups installed are a pair of passive Select/EMG single coils in the neck and middle position and a Passive Select/EMG Humbucker in the bridge. These are wired to independent pickup selectors, master volume and master tone controls.
The Maple ‘C’ profile neck sits comfortably in the hand, the gloss finish to the back of the neck provides a smooth and effortless affair when navigating the neck. The 14” radius Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers when playing, and assists with fluid transitions, as well as bending and vibrato techniques. The small body design offers great comfort in both seated and standing positions with its lightweight and uninhibited access to the higher register, making lead lines effortless and welcoming to a wide range of styles.
The Passive EMG pickups sound very well balanced with plenty of brightness and clarity in the single coils while the EMG Humbucker in the bridge brings a fatter articulate tone. An unpronounced yet detailed low end is complemented with a smooth midrange, whilst the high frequencies are shimmering. The pickups cut through nicely, putting your playing front and centre in even the densest of mixes. The comprehensive control layout means you have total tonal control with the choice of having each pickup on or off due to their independent selectors.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: N/A
Neck: Overall very good condition. Mild scratching is present to the early register to the rear of the neck, these can slightly be felt in the playing position. Light scratching is present to the rest of the neck which can only be seen under direct light. A light indentation is present to the fingerboard at the 10th fret, beneath the 1st E string. This does not impact playability.
Body: Overall very good condition. A mild chip to the finish can be seen between the bridge pickup and the bridge, A previous owner has attempted a finish touch up to cover the exposed wood. All aspects of the body display light to mild scratching and indentations, these can be seen under direct light, most notably by the controls.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss Rod Tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. Mild oxidation is present to the tuning machine screws, this does not affect the functionality. All other aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use. Tremolo arm not included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
