Here for sale we have a Guild OM-140CE Electro-Acoustic Guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Made in China, this guitar features a Solid Sitka Spruce top, South African Mahogany back and sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fretboard with matching bridge. This guitar is equipped with a Guild/Fishman Sonitone GT-1 system with soundhole mounted controls for volume, and tone.

The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the ‘C’ profile that fills the hand, feeling thick enough to inspire confidence and feel dependable without being cumbersome. The South African Mahogany fingerboard feels smooth to the touch, and with the 16" radius provides a playing surface capable of a wide variety of playing styles, whilst fretting is a breezy and sumptuous affair in any register. The Orchestra Cutaway body design feels great in both seated and standing positions, making this guitar great for long durations of playing, whilst allowing the player to access the entire register.

The voice of the Guild is defined and warm, the South African Mahogany back and sides help to produce a soft, rounded tone which is brightened up by the Solid Sitka Spruce top. The guitar projects well acoustically and offers a wide and sensitive dynamic range. The hidden Guild/Fishman GT-1 Pickup system gives this guitar a perfectly amplified boost for gigs and live performances, the GT-1 naturally captures the voice of the guitar for easy use at gigs and recording sessions, whilst the soundhole mounted tone controls offer easy access for sound sculpting.
