Here for sale we have a Guild CE-100D Capri Hollow-Body Electric Guitar in Antique Burst finish. Made in Korea in 2017, this guitar consists of an Arched Laminated Maple body with an Arched Laminated Maple top, a 3-piece Mahogany/Maple/Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Guild Adjusto-Matic bridge, Grover Sta-Tite Die-Cast tuners, a Bone nut, Guild Bigsby B60 tailpiece, and a set of Guild "Anti-Hum" Dual-Coil Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to two volumes, two tones, and a three-way pickup selector.
The 3-piece Mahogany/Maple/Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a slim-feeling Vintage Soft 'U' shape, filling the hand without being too cumbersome, providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 9.45” radius making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The lines of the body feel great in the arms making both seated and standing positions a comfortable affair, whilst the single cutaway offers unobstructed access to the higher frets.
The pair of Guild "Anti-Hum" Dual-Coil humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and smooth tones, well suited to a wide range of genres and playing styles. There is plenty of warmth and roundness in the neck position, perfect for solo tones or shimmering clean sounds. The bridge position has a brighter voicing, meaning that you can easily cut through the mix with biting rhythm tones, or achieve a twangy clean sounds for country and blue licks. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your sound without being intrusive to the playing experience.
