Here for sale we have a Gretsch G2420T Streamliner hollow body electric guitar in Riviera Blue finish. Made in Indonesia in 2020, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Laminated Maple body with centre block, Nato neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with Nickel hardware including Adjusto-Matic on Rosewood base, Licensed Bigsby B60 tailpiece and sealed tuning machines. The pickups installed are a pair of Gretsch Broad'Tron humbuckers, which are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, independent volumes, master tone and master volume.
The Nato neck plays very well, with the Thin 'U' profile feeling slender in the hand and offering comfortable thumb positioning in all registers, whilst the gloss finish to the rear ensures smooth navigation of the 24.75" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and adds a touch of luxury to the playing experience. The 12" fingerboard radius provides a comfortable balance between easy chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending.
The G2420T comes equipped with two Broad’Tron pickups situated in the neck and bridge position. These pickups were a new offering from Gretsch specifically designed for the Streamliner collection. The high-output pickups boast improved definition with tighter bass response meaning that the lows, highs and mids are even clearer and punchier than before. You can control the sonic range of this guitar with its traditional control layout which gives you full access to all of the tones available.
