Here for sale we have a Gordon Smith GSG2 Electric Guitar in Cherry finish. Made in the UK in 2006, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck, and a Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include chrome sealed-back tuners, a Tune-O-Matic bridge, and a set of Gordon Smith humbuckers that are wired to two independent volume controls, two independent tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector.
 
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the profile resembling a ‘D’ profile, feeling slim in the hand, allowing for easy fretting in any register and providing ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 12” radius makes bending and vibrato techniques a breeze, whilst offering a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for quick lead lines. The smaller, more compact size of the body makes it easier to play for extended periods of time compared to larger semi-hollow or hollow body guitars. 
 
The dual humbuckers provide a full and thick tone, reminiscent of an SG with the Mahogany body. A solid bottom end is complimented well by a focussed midrange and sparkling high frequencies. The neck position provides a creamy tone for your solos, whilst the bridge position offers plenty of brightness and bite for those rock rhythm tones. This is the perfect rock machine, providing raw power and grit wrapped up in a very reliable package.
