Here for sale we have a Gibson N-225 finished in an Ebony with Pinstripe finish. This semi-hollow guitar was part of Gibsons ‘designer’ series and features a hand painted pinstripe guitar courtesy of legendary artist Rick Harris, whose signature can also be found on the instrument. Crafted in the USA in 2013, this guitar features a set neck construction comprising a chambered Maple body, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with a tune-o-matic bridge with a Lyre Vibrato, locking Grover tuning machines, along with a bone nut. The pickups installed are a Gibson P-90 pickup in the neck and a Dirty Fingers+ humbucker in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone controls, with a push/pull coil split function for the humbucker.
The '60s SlimTaper neck profile profile fills the hand reassuringly without feeling overly cumbersome.The set-neck construction and double cutaway design provides excellent access to the upper register, and along with the Rosewood fingerboard and satin finish a smooth playing experience can be expected in all registers. The chambered Maple body provides a reassuring weight and is surprisingly substantial feeling when compared with other semi hollow instruments, creating a perfect balance between playing comfort and a full tone.
The combination of a P-90 pickup in the neck position and a Dirty Fingers+ humbucker in the bridge leads to a versatile tonal palette on offer. The bridge pickup is overwound, creating a high output producing aggressive and raw tones ideal for overdriven settings. There is plenty of clarity and definition available in the P90, lending itself well to clean tones, however with a bit of dirt behind it there is a tonally rich and defined sound produced perfect for rock and blues. The coil split for the bridge pickup further enhances the guitar's versatility, with delicate single coil tones becoming available.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. The top of the headstock displays small scuff marks exposing the wood beneath. Light scratching can be seen under direct light.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck displays small indentations, the most noticeable of which can be seen at the 12th fret, and is slightly felt in the playing position. The fingerboard displays light scratching, most noticeably at the 19th fret. This can not be felt under the fingers in the playing position.
Body: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to the rear face body contour, this can not be felt under the fingers. Wear marks are present around the strap button top horn on the rear of the body, this is consistent with past use. Light scratching is present to all faces of the body which can only be seen under direct light.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Hardware: Excellent condition with very light signs of wear.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
