Here for sale we have a Gewa VGS Mandolin F-2 Premium Acoustic Mandolin in Vintage Sunburst finish. Made in China, this Mandolin consists of a Solid Spruce top, Solid Flamed Maple back and sides, a Maple neck, and a 24-fret Purpleheart fingerboard. Other appointments include Snowflake inlays, Gold-plated tuners with pearloid buttons, and a Purpleheart bridge.
The neck is comfortable in the hand, with a 'U' profile which encourages ergonomic thumb positioning. The narrow nut width is practical for reaching each pair of strings with ease, whilst the gloss finish to the rear of the neck delivers a sense of familiarity to the playing experience which is very inspiring in the hands. The slim profile of the body is comfortable in the arms, making the instrument feel supremely easy to play in either standing or seated positions.
The tone of the F-2 Premium is clear and focused. The top projects well, and delivers a nicely open and dynamically responsive sound on both chordal and melodic playing, There is plenty of brightness thanks to the small size of the body, whilst there is a reasonable amount of low-mid and bass response on offer too.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition, all aspects of the headstock demonstrate very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles, as is common with high gloss finish.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.
Body: Overall excellent condition, all aspects of the body demonstrate very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles, as is common with high gloss finish.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. Some frets in the very upper register have lifted slightly, causing a slight buzzing when playing beyond the 14th fret.
