Here for sale we have a G&L Tribute Legacy HSS in Lake Placid Blue finish. Made in Indonesia in 2023, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Poplar body, a Maple neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a G&L Dual Fulcrum vibrato bridge and 18:1 ratio sealed back tuners tuning machines. A trio of G&L pickups are installed in an HSS configuration, with a G&L AW4368 Alnico humbucker in the bridge and G&L CLF-100 Alnico V single-coil in the neck and middle positions. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck tone and middle tone controls. 
 
The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Medium 'C' profile allowing for easy fretting in any register and lending itself well to a wide variety of styles. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 12” radius offers a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for string bends. The Medium jumbo frets enhance vibrato and string bending techniques whilst also providing a rock-solid and smooth playing experience. 
 
The trio of G&L pickups installed in this guitar deliver classic tones with some extra grunt from the humbucker in the bridge. The G&L CLF-100 Alnico V Single-Coil neck pickup is warm and round, with plenty of power to push your lead lines and solos to the front of the mix. The G&L CLF-100 Alnico V Single-Coil in the middle position is bright and clear, and is well suited to funky rhythm sounds. The G&L AW4368 Alnico bridge humbucker offers a hotter output, and can easily drive your amp into a saturated distortion tone. The PTB (passive treble and bass) EQ system is a simple yet forward thinking solution to tonal control on an electric guitar, offering much more flexibility than a vintage setup. The tone pot closest to the volume cuts treble as you roll it down and the rear tone pot cuts bass. Because the EQ is cut-only the circuit can be passive, eliminating the need for 9v batteries as you usually would with onboard EQ.
