Here for sale we have a Fender Vintera II '60s Stratocaster Electric Guitar in Lake Placid Blue finish. Made in Mexico in 2023, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Slab Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Fender Vintage-Style tuners, a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo bridge with Bent Steel Saddles, and a Synthetic Bone nut. This guitar has been upgraded with Seymour Duncan Cory Wong 'Clean Machine' Single Coil pickups which are wired to traditional Stratocaster controls.

The '60s ‘C' neck profile is comfortable in the hand, and with the wear to the nitrocellulose finish to the rear offers smooth navigation of the neck and provides a nicely lived-in feel to the playing experience. The 7.25” radius provides a great platform for chording, with the narrower fingerboard making stretching easier. This does not obstruct the ability to play lead lines up and down the neck, but rather creates an effortless playing surface to demonstrate a versatile range of styles.

This guitar has been fitted with a Seymour Duncan Cory Wong 'Clean Machine' Single Coil set. These pickups were designed with Cory Wong to achieve the iconic tone that he is so well known for. These pickups provide clarity and precision, as well as vintage glassy clean tones that are perfect for choppy rhythm playing and soulful lead playing alike. They provide crisp, articulate and crystalline highs with a bell-like top end, rich in harmonics and a lively bass. A versatile instrument that provides a broad tonal palette for the user to explore.

Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
