Here for sale we have a Fender U.S. Vintage ‘62 Reissue in Fiesta Red. Made in the USA in 1995 this guitar features a Fiesta Red Alder body that has been relic’d aftermarket, Maple neck and 21 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo bridge and 6-in-Line American Vintage tuning machines. A trio of American Vintage Single-Coil pickups are fitted and wired to a 5-way pickup selector, Master Volume and Tone controls for Neck and Middle pickups.
The “U” shape neck feels slim and round, feeling like a classic Fender neck. The 7.25" fingerboard radius continues this theme, and when paired with the Vintage size frets completes what feels like a quintessential stratocaster neck. The classic Stratocaster body contours feel as comfortable as ever, with the dual cutaways providing excellent access to the upper frets.
Amplified, all of the vintage-inspired Stratocaster tones we expect are present and correct. The neck position is warm and round without being too soft; working very well for lead tones. The middle position is punchy and clear, perfect for funky rhythm parts. The bridge is of course brighter, easily cutting through the mix with crunchy rock rhythms and riffs. The traditional Stratocaster controls are as versatile and comprehensive as you could hope for, allowing you to dial in the perfect tone for almost any musical situation.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall good condition, the guitar has been Relic'd aftermarket. This has been performed to an acceptable standard, with finish being chipped and dented to replicate natural wear. It is difficult to discern any natural wear from the relic on the headstock. All aspects of the headstock demonstrate light to moderate scratching, chipping and indentation.
Neck: Overall good condition, the guitar has been Relic'd aftermarket. This has been performed to an acceptable standard, with the rear of the neck sanded from a gloss to a satin. Due to this work, light yet consistent scratching is apparent throughout the register of the rear of the neck, leaving a satin feel underhand. The fingerboard demonstrates light to moderate fret wear throughout the register, causing a darkening of the rosewood in commonly played areas.
Body: Overall good condition, the guitar has been Relic'd aftermarket. This has been performed to an acceptable standard, with chipping of the finish, indentation, scratching and in 2 places slight burning/melting of the finish (to the bass side lower bout edge and the treble side lower bout of the rear face). It is apparent the tools used in places, with divots in the wood likely from a sanding barrel on a dremel tool. Significant finish checking is apparent throughout.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with some light indentation in the early register and flattening of the crowns throughout. this does not affect playability. There is moderate material remaining for future fret work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (flathead driver) not included.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
