Here for sale we have a Fender Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar in Midnight Wine finish. Made in Mexico in 2014, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo bridge, upgraded locking tuners, upgraded strap buttons for strap locks, and a trio of Standard Single Coil Strat pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, tone 1, tone 2, and a 5-way pickup selector.
The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate lead lines. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck has been buffed to a gloss from previous playing and is pleasant to the touch, and assists with smooth and speedy navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard has a nice tight grain, and with its 9.5" radius provides a smooth, durable and practical surface for a wide variety of playing styles and techniques. This is enhanced by the Medium Jumbo frets, which encourage faster playing whilst improving the feel of string bending and vibrato techniques.
The trio of Fender Standard Strat single-coil pickups installed in this guitar deliver traditional Stratocaster tones in spades, with 5-way switching and comprehensive controls providing the wide range of versatile tones that the Strat is famous for. The neck is warm and round whilst providing all the power required to push your solos to the front of the mix. The middle position is well suited to funky clean tones, whilst the bridge delivers a searing output for rocking riffs and that classic Fender 'Twang'.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. The top edge demonstrates a light indentation to the very tip, near the high E winding post.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The bass side of the lower bout demonstrates a moderate indentation that has removed the finish and reveals the bare wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light tarnishing is apparent to the bridge, neck plate and input jack plate. The tuners have been changed for locking tuners. Original tuners are included in the case. The strap buttons have been changed for locking strap buttons. The original strap buttons are included in the case.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
