Here for sale we have a Fender Player Plus Active Jazz Bass in Aged Candy Apple Red finish. Made in Mexico in 2022, this bass consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 20-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a Fender HiMass bridge with Chrome-Plated Zinc Saddles, Standard Open-Gear Fender tuners, Nickel/Chrome hardware, and a Synthetic Bone nut. The pickups installed in this bass are a pair of Player Plus Noiseless Jazz Bass Single Coil pickups. These are wired to a master volume, pickup pan control, a 3-band active EQ, and an active/passive switch.
The Maple neck plays very well, with its Modern ‘C’ profile feeling slim and responsive making for an efficient playing experience. The Satin Urethane finish to the rear of the neck feels pleasing under the thumb and enhances transitions up and down the neck whilst the double cut design of the body makes for great access to the higher register. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and its 12” radius this neck offers a modern Fender playing experience.
Amplified, the pair of Player Plus Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups deliver thick and full bodied bass tones, with plenty of deep lows and a driving mid range that is sure to lay a solid foundation in any mix. The middle position is of course nicely round and warm, whilst the bridge position is bright and spanky, perfectly capturing all of the attack and sparkle from your playing. The on-board active preamp provides comprehensive control of your sound right on the instrument, with a pickup pan control and 3-band EQ allowing you to blend into any musical situation -or indeed stand out when you want to.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates very light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Any other markings to the headstock are difficult to discern.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the body are difficult to discern.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, including light scratching and finish wear, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
