Here for sale we have a Fender Modern Player Telecaster Plus in a Charcoal Transparent finish. Made in China in 2016, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Pine body, Maple neck and 22 fret Maple fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with a Chrome string-thru-body hardtail bridge with 6 bent steel saddles and Nickel vintage-style split post tuning machines. The pickups are installed in an HSS configuration, with a Modern Player Tele single-coil in the neck, Modern Player Strat single-coil in the middle and a Modern Player humbucker in the bridge. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume and tone controls and a coil split mini toggle for the humbucker.
The Maple neck plays very well, with the Gloss finish to the rear working in conjunction with the 'C' shape profile to provide comfortable playability and smooth navigation in all registers. The 9.5" fingerboard radius strikes a nice balance between authentic vintage feel and practicality for lead lines and string bending techniques, whilst the Jumbo frets provide a rock solid playing surface and enhanced vibrato feel. The familiar lines of the Telecaster body shape are as comfortable as ever, with the generous belly carve contour ensuring comfort on long gigs or practice sessions.
The trio of Modern Player pickups and 5-way switch in this guitar offer a really versatile set of tones, perfect for the musician looking for a 'swiss army knife' instrument that's ready for wherever the gig takes them. The Telecaster single-coil in the neck is round and smooth, whilst the Strat middle pickup can achieve some really funky sounds. The humbucker in the bridge position is nice and hot, and can handle a pretty serious amount of gain when called upon. The coil split mini toggle offers the opportunity for more traditional Tele 'twang' sounds, completing a very versatile package of sounds that will keep the vast majority of players happy.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the rear treble side edge demonstrates a moderate chip, revealing the wood beneath. A smaller chip can be identified to the front face top edge, with some indentation surrounding this.
Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates a light indentation behind the 5th fret to the center of the profile. This is difficult to discern beneath the thumb in playing position.
Body: Overall good condition, the bass side waist demonstrates a notable chip on the front edge, continuing slightly onto the front face. Further smaller chips and indentation continues around the perimeter of the body, chipping the finish on the bottom edge and cracking the finish in various places. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and indentation visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. This is most apparent to the center of the rear face.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
