Here for sale we have a Fender Limited Edition American Elite Mahogany Tele Thinline in Gloss Natural finish. Made in the USA in 2017, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Lightweight Semi-Hollow Rescued Hurricane Mitch Honduran Mahogany body, Figured Maple neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Figured Maple fingerboard. Nickel/Chrome hardware is fitted including a Fender Elite Suspension Bridge and a set of Fender locking tuning machines. A Fender 4th Generation Noiseless single-coil is featured in the bridge whilst a Fender Shawbucker humbucker is in the neck position, these are wired to a 3-way selector switch, master volume and a master tone with a S-1 switch for coil-splitting the neck pickup.
 
The Figured Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's Compound Back Shape, Modern "C" to "D" profile filling the hand nicely offering an ergonomic playing experience whilst avoiding feeling cumbersome. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck ensures that the 25.5" scale feels easily manoeuvrable, even with the heat and stickiness that can come with playing on stage. The 9.5" to 14" Compound Radius fingerboard radius and Medium Jumbo frets are highly practical for both chordal and melodic playing, with improved string bending and vibrato feel over some of the more traditional models. The Lightweight Semi-Hollow Mahogany body is comfortable in the arms and easy on the shoulders; perfect for the gigging musician. 
 
Acoustically this guitar has excellent resonance, with a nicely loud and airy tone, the pair of Fender pickups deliver a unique and exciting tone. The Fender Shawbucker humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Fender Noiseless single-coil pickup in the bridge offers classic Tele twang with plenty of articulation. Trebles are well defined, providing this guitar with a crystalline quality to the sound that is versatile enough for a wide range of musical settings. The addition of the S-1 switch to the tone control allows players to coil-split the neck humbucker for even more versatility!
