Here for sale we have a Fender Classic Series '72 Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar in Walnut finish. Made in Mexico in 2009, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Strat Strings-Through-Body Hardtail bridge, Fender Vintage "F" Stamped tuners, and a set of Fender Wide-Range Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Maple neck plays very well, with a 'C' profile with some flattening to the back making it easy to grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing. The Maple fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its 12” radius is well suited to lead lines and string bending. This paired with the Medium Jumbo frets ensures a playing experience which is perfect for the more technical player.
The Wide-Range humbuckers sound thick and full, with a solid low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with classic Fender treble. The pickups cut through nicely, putting your playing front and centre in even the densest of mixes. The controls feel responsive, offering a wide range of sounds. Overall offering more power than is usual for Fender without entirely losing the signature character.
