Here for sale we have a Fender American Standard Stratocaster in 3-Colour Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2008, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, a Maple neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. The hardware featured on this guitar consists of a 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge and a set of Fender Deluxe Staggered tuning machines. A trio of American Standard Stratocaster single-coil pickups are installed, these are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck and middle tone controls.
The Satin Maple neck plays very well, with the Modern ‘C’ profile sitting very comfortably in the hand and promotes ergonomic hand positioning, feeling smooth whilst providing an articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and offers a tactile and durable playing surface, with the 9.5" radius working in conjunction with the Medium Jumbo frets to produce an authentically vintage playing experience, allowing for vibrato techniques and complex chordings to be played with ease.
The Fender American Standard Stratocaster Single-Coils pickups provide all the classic Stratocaster tones that you coil wish for. The bridge pickup provides bright and glistening trebles with plenty of spank, power chords sound gritty, whilst also providing soaring lead tones. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone. The middle pickup produces bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The neck pickup has rounded creamer tones great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz style lines, whilst also handling higher gain settings masterfully, offering plenty of room for tonal sculpting.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. It is difficult to discern any markings to the headstock.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Pitting is present across the fingerboard most notably the early register, these can not be felt in the playing position. Delamination is present to the fret ends across the neck, these can not be felt in the playing position.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the front and rear face, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the center of the rear face. On the lower bout bass side edge small indentations are present, these do not break through the finish. Around the jack socket small indentations are present, these do not break through the finish.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
