Here for sale we have a Fender Alternate Reality 'The Powercaster' Electric Guitar in Surf Green finish. Made in Mexico in 2019, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Roasted Maple neck, and a 22-fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Adjusto-Matic bridge with Anchored-Tailpiece, Standard Cast/Sealed tuners, an Atomic Humbucker in the bridge position, and a MP90 Soapbar pickup in the neck position. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector. 
 
The Roasted Maple neck plays very well, with the "Modern C" neck profile feeling slim enough to comfortably play lines across the whole register, but substantial enough to provide satisfying tactile feedback when chord playing. The Hand-Rubbed Oil finish on the back of the neck feels sleek in the hand, ensuring smooth navigation of the 24.75” scale. The Pau Ferro fretboard provides a solid but smooth playing surface and its 9.5” radius finds an ideal middle ground for players who want both comfortable chord playing and practicality for melodic playing and string bends. 
 
The Atomic Humbucker in bridge position is thick and powerful sounding, driving the front end of an amp well and has a cutting and punchy midrange. The MP90 Soapbar in the neck position brings a thicker, darker single-coil sound, yet still delivers the clarity and fullness you would expect from a P90. Both pickups sound thick and rich, with a rounded low end, tight and punchy midrange and clear, articulate high end that cuts through a mix with ease. The 3-way blade switch and master controls offer simple and effective tonal shaping, a great option for players after a no-nonsense chunky tone.
