Here for sale we have a Faith FVHG HEX Venus Cutaway Hi-Gloss Electro-Acoustic Guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Made in Indonesia in 2013, this guitar consists of a Solid Spruce top, Solid Indonesian Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Macassan Figured Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include Quarter-Sawn Spruce bracing, Grover Rotomatic Gold tuners, a TUSQ nut, and a Shadow preamp and pickup system. This system has controls for volume, treble, mid, bass, phase, pan, and an onboard tuner.
The Mahogany neck plays effortlessly, with its ‘C’ shape neck feeling familiar and ergonomic while the Ebony fingerboard provides a smooth and consistent playing surface. The cutaway makes the upper registers of the fingerboard accessible while the unique shape of the Faith Venus feels comfortable against the body, still being able to deliver big acoustic performances.
The all-solid-wood construction makes for a lively and dynamic instrument that responds well to the touch, with the Solid Spruce top giving excellent clarity and midrange punch, while the Solid Rosewood back and sides offer plenty of warmth and a smooth transient response. The Shadow preamp really enhances the voice of the guitar, in a simple and easy-to-use package, great for gigging with.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top edges demonstrate light indentation and scuffing, with some paint transfer we have been unable to remove. The top bass side corner of the front face demonstrates a small chip to the finish, with a scuff next to this. The treble side front edge demonstrates consistent light indentation which does not pierce the finish.
Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates a moderate indentation to the bass side of the profile in the early register which pierces the finish and can be felt beneath the thumb. Infrequent indentation to a lesser degree can be identified throughout the register, not affecting playability.
Body: Overall good condition, the front face demonstrates a professionally repaired crack between the soundhole and the treble side waist. This has been cleated beneath and has had some slight finish touchup to help disguise. This does not notably impact the performance of the instrument. The bass side lower bout and bottom edge demonstrate consistent light indentation visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. The rear demonstrates consistent scratching across the face, most notably towards the center.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
