Here for sale we have an ESP LTD Deluxe M-1000 electric guitar in Snow White finish. Made in Korea in 2019, this guitar features a neck-thru construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 24 fret Macassar Ebony fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including a Floyd Rose 1000SE double-locking tremolo system and Grover sealed tuning machines. A pair of active EMG 81 humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume & master tone controls.
The Maple neck plays exceptionally well, with the Extra Thin 'U' profile providing easy reach and razor sharp playability across the register. With marginally broader shoulders than a 'C' shape, the profile offers a slightly flattened area to the centre rear which encourages ergonomic thumb positioning for fast lead lines and solos. The Macassar Ebony fingerboard feels luxurious under the fingers, with the compound radius transitioning smoothly from rounded in the lower register to flat at the top frets. This ensures comfort for chord playing and practicality for lead lines, with the XJ Stainless frets providing a rock solid and durable surface for string bending and vibrato techniques.
The pair of active EMG 81 pickups installed in this instrument deliver heavy, crushing tones that are sure to satisfy your hard rock and metal cravings. The neck produces a rounder sound which works very well for lead lines, with plenty of power on hand to help you cut through even the densest mix. The bridge is brighter, saturating into a searing distortion tone when you drive the amp hard. The pickups do clean up nicely too for the quieter moments in the set, with the middle position in particular sounding particularly shimmery and clear. The controls are kept simple, allowing you to focus on your playing.
