Here for sale we have an Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette Special HSS Tremolo Electric Guitar in Black finish. Made in the USA in 2013, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a Music Man Vintage Tremolo bridge, locking tuners, and Chrome hardware. The pickups installed are a DiMarzio Custom Humbucker in the bridge, and DiMarzio Custom Single Coils in neck and middle positions. These pickups are wired to a master volume (push/push neck-on), master tone, and a 5-way pickup selector.
The Maple neck plays well, with the satin finish to the rear feeling pleasant to the touch and aiding in smooth movements up and down the neck. The profile might be described as an even 'C' shape, feeling comfortable across the register and allowing for fast runs and easy chord playing. The Alder body is small enough to feel comfortable and lightweight in any playing position whilst retaining a generous feel and well set out controls. The sculpted neck heel and tapered lower horn enhance access to the upper register.
The trio of pickups installed in this guitar deliver classic Stratocaster tones with some extra grunt from the humbucker in the bridge. The DiMarzio single coil pickups deliver bright, chiming S-type tones, well suited to a wide range of styles and genres. The neck pickup is warm and round, with plenty of power to push your lead lines and solos to the front of the mix. The middle position is bright and clear, and is well suited to funky rhythm sounds. The aftermarket DiMarzio Custom Humbucker offers a hotter output, and can easily drive your amp into a saturated distortion tone. The electronics have been modified so that position 3 on the pickup selector is neck and a single coil from the bridge, and position 2 is the middle pickup and a single coil from the bridge pickup.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The very tip demonstrates light scuffing and indentations to the front and rear face edges. Any other markings to the headstock are difficult to discern.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light indentations that cannot be felt by the hand in playing position. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to mild scratching, scuffing and indentations. Most notably a scuff to the centre of the front face lower bout edge and indentations to the treble side lower bout edge, near the control knobs. None of these markings have pierced the finish to reveal the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting is present to the early register and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Mild to moderate oxidisation is apparent to the fret ends.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (spoke wheel) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light tarnishing is apparent to the bridge and tuners.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
