Here for sale we have a Limited Edition Epiphone Les Paul Standard Lite in Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish. Made in China in 2019, this guitar aimed to bring the features & sound of the Les Paul in a more lightweight & manageable package. Indeed the body is slightly slimmer than a typical Les Paul, & has extensive weight relief/chambering to keep the weight nice and low. Of course, a set-neck construction is employed, and comprises a Mahogany body with Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Nickel hardware is fitted including a Tune-O-Matic bridge, StopBar tailpiece and Grover Rotomatic tuning machines. A pair of Epiphone passive humbucking pickups are installed, with an Alnico Classic in the neck and an Alnico Classic Plus in the bridge. These are wired to the standard Les Paul controls.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the '60s SlimTaper profile offering a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The profile is certainly slimmer than is traditional for a Les Paul, and ensures easy reach and comfortable playability. The Pau Ferro fretboard is pleasant under the fingers and with its 12" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. With Medium Jumbo frets, string bending & vibrato techniques are enhanced & feel rock solid under the fingers. The rounded lines of the Les Paul body are as comfortable in the arms as ever, whilst the single cutaway provides unobstructed access to the upper register.
The pair of Epiphone Alnico Classic & Alnico Classic Plus humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and meaty tones, just as you would expect from a Les Paul. The neck is warm and round, with plenty of power to push your solo tones to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is of course brighter and hotter, saturating into a full-bodied distortion tone which is well suited to rock riffing and rhythm parts. The controls feel nicely responsive, allowing you to dial in your perfect tone whilst playing. At just 7.05lbs, this guitar really does live up to it's 'Lite' moniker, and is perfect for anyone who wishes to preserve their back on stage!

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. A light indentation lightly pierces the finish to the rear of the headstock near the 6th E tuner. The top rear edge shows a light scuff mark. Light to mild scratching to the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Very light lateral scratching can be seen to the fingerboard across the register, these can be seen at close scrutiny under direct light and can not be felt in the playing position. Any markings to the rear of the neck are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light scratching which is visible under direct light, the most apparent of these can be seen to the rear face lower bout.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Light flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. Mild scratching is present to the pickup covers. Light tarnishing can be seen to the tuning machines.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm

Strings on Guitar - 10-46
This guitar demonstrates mild fret noise which is not apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes. The new owner may choose to raise the action to alleviate this.
