Here for sale we have an Epiphone Joe Pass Signature Emperor II Hollow Body Electric Guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Made in Korea in 2004, this guitar features a Laminate Spruce Top, Laminated Maple back and sides and a 3-piece Maple neck topped with a 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Two Epiphone Humbuckers are featured on this guitar, these are wired to a 3-way pickup selector and independent volume and tone controls.
The 3-piece Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, offering a smooth and comfortable playing surface that promotes ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The 12" radius provides a comfortable playing surface, perfect for complex chords and single-note lines whilst feeling comfortable under the fingers. The single cutaway body design allows for unobstructed access to the higher register, completing a comfortable guitar that offers excellent playability for jazz and other clean styles of music.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock:
Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. The top edges demonstrate light indentation, chipping the finish very slightly to the rear corners.
Neck:
Overall very good condition, the fingerboard demonstrates some light scratching in the very upper register, visible only under close inspection. These cannot be felt under the finger.
Body:
Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates chipping to the finish towards the bass side waist. The wood beneath has aged and oxidised so the chips are slightly less visible upon viewing. The finish below the bridge has not been exposed to the sun and demonstrates a "tan". The lower bout demonstrates some light indentations, not piercing the finish. The bass side edges of the instrument demonstrate light indentation cracking the finish slightly. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Condition of Frets:
There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional with moderate signs of wear, most notably oxidation and tarnishing of the pickup covers and tuning buttons.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

This guitar has been adjusted for light pick action. If you use an aggressive attack it may be necessary to raise the bridge slightly to eliminate string rattle.
