Here for sale we have an Epiphone ES-339 Pro in Cherry finish. Made in China, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising Laminated Maple body, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Nickel hardware including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop bar, as well as Grover Deluxe vintage-style tuning machines with ‘Tulip’ buttons. The pickups installed are a pair of Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers, which are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls, with a coil split feature for each pickup.
The SlimTaper 'D' profile Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, the slim profile allows for fast and easy navigation without feeling too thin. The 12” radius provides a great playing surface allowing for bending and vibrato techniques and the double cutaway body allows unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those jazzy style lead lines. The smaller, more compact size of the ES-339 makes it easier to play for extended periods of time compared to larger semi-hollow or hollow body guitars but not diminishing from the overall tone.
The semi-hollow body design of the ES-339 provides a warm, natural resonance that adds depth and dimension to the guitar's tone. The solid centre block helps to reduce any unwanted feedback and unwanted resonance, resulting in a more defined sound. The Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers provide a warm, full-bodied tone with a balanced frequency response. They offer a rich, clear sound that is well-suited for a wide range of musical styles, the Push/Pull feature adds even more range, offering single-coil twang. A versatile instrument that can cover a lot of different styles from blues and jazz to hard hitting rock.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light to mild scratching of the front face is most notable around the B tuner and at the bass side tip of the front face. The top rear edge shows light scuffing.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light scratching across the register of the fingerboard is most notable at the 13th & 14th frets. These markings are not felt under the fingers and therefore do not impact playability. Light scratching to the rear of the neck can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable to the centre of the rear face and treble side waist of the front face, consistent with playwear.
Condition of Frets:
The frets show mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Very light denting of the frets is noticeable in the early register. There is considerable material remaining for further work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional with light signs of wear.
Hardware: Fully functional with moderate signs of wear. The scratchplate is missing, leaving exposed screw holes where it would be mounted. The metal hardware displays moderate oxidation and tarnishing, most notably the pickup covers.
Structural: No concerns of issues to note.
Height of string from 12th Fret- Treble 1.50mm - Bass 2.00mm
