Here for sale we have an Epiphone Ultra-339 in Vintage Sunburst finish. Made in China in 2011, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments included StopBar tailpiece, Tune-O-Matic bridge and Grover Deluxe tuning machines. A pair of Epiphone Alnico humbucking pickups are installed, along with a NanoMAG piezo pickup at the end of the fretboard. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, neck, bridge and NanoMAG volume controls and a master tone. The NanoMAG has additional rear mounted bass, treble and gain controls, with dual outputs for stereo and mono signals.
The Mahogany neck plays well, with the ‘D’ profile offering a substantial but articulate grip whilst the Gloss finish to the rear ensures a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up to the 22nd fret. The control layout keeps things familiar whilst allowing for extra control for the NanoMAG pickup.
The pair of Alnico humbuckers installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, just as you would expect from a 339 The neck pickup is round and warm, and can handle plenty of gain, perfect for those rock solo sounds. The bridge pickup is brighter, and with a higher output can drive your amp into a sweetly saturated distortion for biting rhythm sounds. The addition of the NanoMAG piezo pickup adds the option for acoustic-style sounds, meaning that you can head to the gig with just one guitar. The extensive controls mean that you remain in full control of your tone at all times.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, all aspects of the headstock demonstrate very light scratching visible under direct lighting at certain angles.
Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck and fingerboard demonstrate very light scratching visible under direct lighting at certain angles.
Body: Overall very good condition, finish cracking is apparent beside the jack socket plate. This will not worsen through regular use. All aspects of the body demonstrate very light scratching visible under direct lighting at certain angles.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Truss rod cover not included. Fully functional with light signs of wear. The nanomag pickup has been lowered, which some material and the binding attached to the nanomag has been removed to achieve this.
Structural: No concerns or emails to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
