Eastman E1D Satin Classic 2021 Acoustic Guitar
Here for sale we have a Eastman E1D acoustic guitar in Satin Classic finish. Made in China in 2021, this guitar features an all solid construction comprising a Solid Sitka Spruce top, Solid Sapele back and sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Ebony fingerboard with matching bridge. The body is double bound with Tortoise binding, whilst the top features a ‘Classic’ rosette. This guitar is fitted with a Bone saddle and nut as well as a set of Chrome Open-Gear PingWell V93N tuning machines.
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Traditional Even "C" profile filling the hand nicely for a comfortable grip when chord playing, but remains slim enough for fast articulate playing. The Ebony fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, and with its 12" radius provides a nice consistent playing experience right the way up the register, practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. The familiar lines of the dreadnought body are as comfortable in the arms as ever, ensuring that long practice sessions and gigs are an absolute breeze. 
 
The acoustic voice of the Eastman is rich and well balanced thanks to the selection of tone woods used in its construction. All solid woods ensure that the instrument resonates beautifully, adding a real depth and character to the tone. The low end is warm without being too soft, the mid range is punchy and clear, whilst the treble response adds a shimmer and sparkle to every note played on the instrument. The Solid Sitka Spruce top projects very well, meaning that there is plenty of dynamic range to be found in this guitar, which feels nicely responsive to the player's touch.

    Aesthetic Condition:

    Overall very good condition. On the rear face at the tip of the headstock small indentations are present, these can be felt under the fingers. The front face displays very light scratching. Any other marksing are difficult to discern.

    Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings are difficult to discern.

    Body: Overall excellent condition. Below the bridge very light indentations are present, these can only be seen under direct light. Any other markings are difficult to discern.

     

    Condition of Frets:

    The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

     

    Current Set Up:

    Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.

    Hardware: Overall excellent condition.
