Here for sale we have a Chapman ML3 Modern in Dark Cherry Satin finish. Made in Korea in 2019, this guitar features a set-through construction comprising a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 24 fret Ebony fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted, including a string through body hardtail bridge and Hipshot Grip-Lock open geared tuning machines. A pair of Chapman Madrigal Humbuckers passive humbucking pickups are installed. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls. 
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the C Shape profile feeling nice and precise without being too thin. This ensures a playing experience which is highly practical for a wide range of styles and techniques, without being devoid of character as some thin necks can be. The Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard provide a seriously premium feel in the hand, and along with the luminous side dot fret markers create a sense of luxury for the player. The set-through construction, sculpted lower horn and heel all work together to ensure that access to the upper frets is completely unrestricted. 
 
The Chapman Madrigal humbuckers have a modern voicing, with deep and rich lows, a punchy, driving midrange, along with crisp and cutting highs thanks to the 500k pots. The 5-way super switch gives you traditional dual humbucker switching in positions 1/3/5, with coil splits (outer coils) in positions 2 and 4. This is an elegant way to get the best of both humbuckers and single coils without needing the use of push/pull pots or unsightly toggle switches.
