Here for sale we have a Breedlove Atlas Series AC25/SR Electro-Acoustic Guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Made in Korea in 2003, this guitar features an all-solid construction comprising Rosewood back and sides, Spruce top, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard with matching bridge. The body is double bound, whilst the top is handsomely adorned with Abalone purfling and Rosette. The fingerboard inlays are also in Abalone. Gold Grover Rotomatic tuning machines are fitted, whilst the instrument is also equipped with a Fishman Sonicore undersaddle piezo pickup and Fishman Classic 4T shoulder-mounted preamp. This features slider controls for master volume, 3-band EQ and brilliance, along with an on-board tuner. 
 
The Mahogany neck plays well, with what might be described as a moderately sized 'C' shape profile that fills the hand nicely without feeling at all cumbersome. The Satin finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale, whilst the abalone inlays and neck binding add a real sense of luxury to the playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its traditional 16" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. The cutaway enhances access to the upper register, whilst the smooth lines of the body feel great in the arms, ensuring comfort in both standing and seated positions. 
 
The acoustic voice of the Breedlove AC25/SR Plus is deep and rich thanks to its Dreadnought body design. This, paired with the Rosewood back and sides produce a warm yet detailed bass response that adds a real depth to the tone. The all-solid construction and Spruce top ensures a lively and resonant sound, with excellent projection and dynamic range. This guitar is from Breedlove's era of fitting a bridge doctor to all of its instruments. This redirects the tension of the strings from the top to the end block of the guitar, reducing the need for thick bracing of the top, allowing it to resonate more freely. This also eliminates potential issues with lifting bridges and bellying. The Fishman Classic 4T electronics faithfully convey the acoustic voice of the instrument, adding the versatility for live and recording situations.
