Here for sale we have a Boss DSD-3 Digital Sampler/Delay pedal. Manufactured in Japan, 1988, the DSD-3 is a compact pedal that features both a Sampler function (800ms digital recorder) and a delay function (50-800ms). The trigger in jack can be used to sync the DSD-3 with a rhythm machine, or to sample a sound and use it as an external sound source, or to obtain an echo effect that perfectly syncs to the rhythm.
In ‘Delay Mode’, the time knob determines the delay time, rotating it clockwise lengthens the delay time and vice versa. In ‘Delay Mode’ the time knob decides how many times the delay sound is to be repeated, whilst in ‘Sampler Mode’ the knob should be set at the fully counterclockwise position. Rotating the knob clockwise mixes recorded sound with the sample sound and an effect like multi track recording is obtained.
The ‘S’ delay mode has a range of 200ms whilst the ‘L’ mode has a length of 800ms. In ‘Sampler Mode’ the pedal switch works as a trigger (start) switch for recording or playing. If the pedal is kept depressed, recording or playing is continuously repeated.
