Here for sale we have a BC Rich Mockingbird ST Electric Guitar in Trans Purple finish. Made in Korea in 2008, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a AAA Quilted Maple Veneer, a Mahogany neck, and a 24-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include Grover Super Rotomatic tuners, Diamond inlays, and a set of Duncan Designed HB-103 humbuckers. These pickups are wired to a 3-Way Toggle Switch, Neck Volume, Bridge Volume, Master Tone, Coil Split Mini Switches, Phase Reverse Switch, and a 5 Way 'Varitone' Tone Filter.
The Medium 'C' neck plays very well, feeling slender in the hand, with a nicely flat spot in the centre of the neck that acts as an ergonomic place for the thumb to rest. The 12" radius feels pleasantly flat under the fingers and provides a consistent playing experience across the whole register. The neck-thru construction of this guitar ensures uninhibited access to the upper frets, whilst the fairly complex controls are laid out in an optimised and comfortable location- easy to reach without being intrusive.
The Duncan Designed HB-103 humbucking pickups provide a thick and fat tone right away, with a rich low end and warmth in the neck position, well balanced middle position and plenty of brightness and bite in the bridge. When driving the amps, the pickups provide a rich and harmonically saturated distortion. Individual volume controls allow for blending of the two pickups in any combination, whilst the coil split and phase reverse mini switches allow for maximum control of your tone right on the guitar. The 5-Way 'Varitone' tone filter completes a very versatile tonal package.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. The front face demonstrates very light scratching, only visible under direct lighting, as is common on high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates very light scratching, only visible under direct lighting, as is common on high gloss finishes. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall excellent condition. It is difficult to discern any markings to the body.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
