Here for sale we have an Aria Pro II CTB Series Electric Bass in Black Gloss finish. Made in Japan, this bolt-on neck construction bass consists of a small body, a Maple neck, and a Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include black chrome hardware, a 4-saddle bridge, die-cast sealed black chrome tuners, and a set of Aria Pro II active PJ pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, active EQ control, a 3-way pickup selector, and an active/passive switch.
The Maple neck plays very well, with what might be described as a moderately sized 'D' profile which fills the hand nicely for a substantial grip without being at all cumbersome. The 'D' profile offers a small flattened area to the centre of profile which promotes ergonomic thumb positioning and comfortable fretting across the register. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and with its 14" radius is highly practical for a range of playing styles and techniques. Generous cutaways and body contours provide unrestricted access to the upper register whilst ensuring a comfortable playing experience.
The pair of active Aria Pro II pickups combine the best of P & J sounds for a smooth and rounded bass tone which works well in a variety of contexts. There's plenty of power from the split-coil in the middle position, whilst the brightness of the single-coil in the bridge captures all of the attack and aggression of your playing. The controls keep things simple whilst also providing a lot of opportunity to keep your tone varied.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light chipping of the finish near the treble side of the truss rod cover, this has exposed the wood beneath. Light scratching is present to the front face as is common with high gloss finishes, these can only be seen under direct light. A slight mark which has discolored the finish is present to the treble side edge near the high E tuning machine.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. The rear of the neck displays light discoloration throughout the register,this is common with satin finishes, Maple necks and regular past use. Any other markings are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body display light sings of scratching which can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Mild scratching is present to the waist cutaway to the rear face, these have broken through the finish but do not expose the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light tarnishing is present to all aspects of the hardware.
Structural: The neck has pulled forward over the years due to continued string tension. This causes a raised action and fret noise in the upper register.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2.25mm - Bass 2.5mm
