Here for sale we have a Antoria ‘LP’ Custom in Cherry Sunburst finish. Made in Japan in 1977, this bolt-on constructed 'LP'-style guitar consists of a 2-Piece ‘Pancake’ Mahogany body with a Laminated Maple top, a 3-Piece Maple neck and a 22 Medium Jumbo fret bound Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with a set of vintage Gotoh sealed tuning machines, a Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece. The pickups are a pair of Ibanez Super 70 humbuckers.

The 3-Piece Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘D’  profile providing a much slimmer shape when compared with more traditional necks. This allows for more technical playing to be executed more ergonomically whilst still retaining a solid feel. The traditional 12" fingerboard radius strikes the perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and smooth lead lines, making for a truly authentic yet refined Les Paul playing experience, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard adorned with 22 frets provides a rock-solid playing surface whilst also assisting with string bending and vibrato techniques.

The pair of Ibanez Super 70 humbuckers in this guitar offer warm and rich tones, exactly as you would expect from a guitar with a branded name. The Super 70 neck humbucker is thick and creamy, saturating beautifully into full-bodied distortion as you crank the gain whilst turning the volume and tone controls provides a crisp, crystalline clean tone. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Super 70 humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. The control layout keeps things feeling simple, with easy and intuitive tonal shaping.
